 VERY IMPORTANT: Kaltura Capture minimum system requirements are Windows 7 to 10, 32-bit and above, or Mac 10.10 to 10.13., and requires a minimum of 4 GB of RAM.

Download Kaltura CaptureSpace Desktop Recorder for free. The Kaltura CaptureSpace Desktop Recorder enables easy recording in class, at home, or on-the-go with automated publishing and interactive viewing within the Learning Management System (LMS) or in Kaltura’s MediaSpace video portal. Click Add New → Kaltura Capture: A new window will display which says “The Kaltura Capture Desktop Recorder”. Near the bottom text reads “Using Kaltura Capture for the first time?” with links for both the Windows installer and the Mac installer. Click the link for the installer you want to use. Kaltura Capture. Kaltura Capture (or Kaltura Personal Capture) is a desktop application that allows computer screen recording and video recording via a webcam. It is an easy to use application and is available for both PC and Mac. Video recorded on Kaltura Capture can be shared with others on Canvas.net LMS. Option 2: Installing for Mac. Click Download for Mac to download the application. Double click on the DMG file to open. The window will appear. Drag the Kaltura Capture application icon to the Applications folder. Click My Media from the navigation inside Brightspace. Click the Add New button and choose Capture to launch Kaltura Capture. Download and Install Kaltura Capture. Download and Install Kaltura Capture for Mac OSX. Once logged in to PSU Media Space, click + Add New, then Kaltura Capture.

There are two ways to reach the Kaltura recorder download. One is through the site video.uark.edu, and the other is from inside of My Media on Blackboard. Below are instructions for both options.

Installing from within Blackboard

Under the U of A top tab on Blackboard, there are modules (boxes) listed on the page with information. Click on the My Media link in the My Media module.

1. Once you are in your My Media click on the Add New menu in the top right and chooseKaltura Capture.
2. Download the installation file for Windows or Mac. If your machine already has Kaltura Capture, clicking Add New will launch the software.
3. Run the installation file to install Capture.

Installing from video.uark.edu

1. Go to video.uark.edu, and login. To log in, on the top right, click Guest then Login.
2. Click Add New, then Kaltura Capture.
3. Download the installation file. If your machine already has Kaltura Capture, clicking Add New will launch the software.
4. After download completion, run the installation file.
